Hands-On Apprenticeships for Future Trades Professionals
Wespine offers apprenticeships on an as-needed basis and maintains a number of apprentices at varying stages of their four-year apprenticeship. Apprenticeships provide an opportunity to combine on-the-job experience with classroom learning towards a nationally recognised trade qualification. We offer apprenticeships in the following fields:
- Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting)
- Engineering – Industrial Electrician
- Wood Machining
- Saw Technology (Saw Doctor)
We celebrate the successes of our employees through a reward and recognition program. The program is our way of recognising team members’ achievements and length of service. We recognise and reward staff at 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of service.
